SPARK invites residents in Sorgenfri to a free light workshop with lighting designer Studio Jakob Kvist on November 26th. UPDATE: Now open to anyone!
A light art workshop to playfully explore the possibilities that light offers as an expression medium. The workshop is primarily aimed at young adults, but all age groups are welcome.
Participants will have the opportunity to work together and be inspired from one another, on a site-specific project that will be hosted at SPARK during December and January. The works can result in decorations/sculptures that relate to the architectural surroundings, people and culture expressing the participants own vision.
During the workshop, Studio Jakob Kvist will be present to help and guide the participants through the process with advice, sparring of ideas feedback.

10:30 - 11:00 Assembly of 1 fixture and basic techniques
11:00 - 12:00 Investigating/Planning/Sketching
12:00 - 13:00 Lunch provided by SPARK
13:00 - 14:00 Testing
14:00 - 16:00 Production and final assembly
